"Express Your Inner Hero" Art Contest

posted May 24, 2015, 11:01 AM by Mnaalas Admin   [ updated May 24, 2015, 11:05 AM ]

Calling all SUPER HEROES!

The AALAS Foundation is excited to announce that the 2015 "Express Your Inner Hero" Art Contest, to benefit the AALAS Foundation and its mission, is now officially OPEN FOR ENTRY!

We have seen how wildly fun and creative AALAS members can be - as evidenced by the AMAZING entries received the past two years in the "cattle drive" and "horse race" - and, we know all of you working in the field of laboratory animal science are SUPER HEROES!

So, this year, instead of a contest where we ask you to decorate an animal, we want it to be all about YOU - or, your company, your branch, or, your institution/ association!

We want you to creatively express your INNER SUPER HERO on an 8" x 10" art canvas - using any medium (paint, draw, glue fabric, beads, etc., - the sky's the limit!) Of course, to make it a bit challenging, we have included a few contest rules/guidelines

There will be four category winners this year - Individual, Branch, Corporate/Company, and Institution/ Association. Plus, we'll have a "Best of Show" (judged by AALAS President, AALAS Foundation Executive Director and Local Arrangements Committee Chair) AND a "Fans' Favorite" winner - determined by the art entry receiving the most "likes" on the "Express Your Inner Hero" Facebook photo gallery.

Don't miss out on all the fun! Click here for details and how to register for entry in the 2015 Express Your Inner Hero Art Contest!
