Due to the expansion of our Madison, Wisconsin facility, we have career opportunities to start as technicians with career growth into areas such as:  training, leadership, or client services.

 

We have Study Technician openings in the following areas:

Toxicology In-Life – Collects, documents, and manages pertinent data related to Toxicology studies, including laboratory animal observations, test material administration and sample collection.

Pathology – Performs basic necropsy or histology tasks on a variety of laboratory animals.

Metabolism In-Life – Collects, documents, and manages pertinent data, including laboratory animal observations, test material administration and sample collection, but also tracks the test material as it moves through the body.

Dose Formulation – Receives and formulates drug products that are used in Toxicology studies. Prepares vehicles, diets, solutions, and capsules according to study protocols and SOPs.   Hospital Pharmacy experience is a plus.

 

These positions require a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate degree in either Laboratory Animal Technology or Veterinary Technology. Experience may be substituted for education.  Full training program is provided.

Provide daily supervision and general oversight of an Animal Care Team, facilitating problem resolution and sustaining communication with PRL. The Supervisor is responsible for taking a proactive approach in the implementation of improved processes and practices, and leading the execution of department goals and objectives with general direction from management in support of Animal Care initiatives.
